LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 22, 2021) – One of the career fields which promises plenty of opportunity now and for the future is engineering.

Whether it is civil engineering, computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering or another area of this wide-ranging field, engineers are problem solvers. As such they play a key role in everything from developing new health care technologies, to building better bridges, to finding solutions for environmental challenges.

Professor Rudy Buchheit is in his third year as dean of the University of Kentucky College of Engineering. In this edition of the ‘Behind the Blue’ podcast, Carl Nathe visits with Buchheit to talk about the ongoing growth of the college and more.
