LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 19, 2021) – Dr. Eli Capilouto became the 12th President of the University of Kentucky on July 1, 2011. Under his leadership, the Commonwealth's flagship and land grant research university has grown from $2.7 billion to nearly $5.1 billion in total operations and has gained significant momentum in fulfilling its mission of teaching, research, service and health care.

On this episode of Behind the Blue, Capilouto sits down for a conversation about the upcoming fall semester, the work to return to “normal” in the midst of the pandemic, UK’s Strategic Plan and how its implementation will guide the University into the future.
